Dr. Baron Rogers

Healing, personal growth and ultimately flourishing, takes effort. We may find ourselves fighting against not only the outside world but sometimes ourselves. And if you are reading this far, then I want you to celebrate…here and now. Offer yourself gratitude. While we may aspire for worldly success in our relationships, work, or daily routines, attempting to do so without knowing ourselves deeply, healing personal and generational wounds, and feeling empowered, we fall short. That's why with clients of varying, intersecting identities and unique concerns, I prioritize personal/systemic insight, authenticity, and acceptance. As a counseling psychologist, I use a “here and now” approach that focuses on emotions, bodily experiences, and authenticity. This serves as a guide in my clinical work to develop insight and create change while using techniques from Gestalt Therapy, EFT, ACT, DBT and Optimal Theory. Where we learn how to lean into it, learn about where it comes from and progress through it. I challenge my clients to be their most authentic self and sometimes it means calling things out!
